Drifter 03:22
Semi automatic pilot never got me to my destination But sometimes when someone else drives it's nice to take a little fake vacation I'll kick back and try to sleep it off and wake up to realize that I'm lost I thought disengaged was better than enraged and that's how these words landed on this page I found out its insane that I'm here flying a plane Cause I'm a drifter, I'm a drifter You called on the phone and you said You think I'll make it home But I'm a drifter, I'm a drifter, today Cruising in a tailspin never sent me in the right direction Now I see after all the spinning that this mistake necessitates correction Yeah I'll wake up it's time to take control Eyes are open time to save my soul I'll engage, give up my rage and that's how these words landed on this page I found out its insane that I'm here flying a plane Cause I'm a drifter, I'm a drifter You called on the phone and you said You think I'll make it home But I'm a drifter, I'm a drifter, today I'll be ashamed if we go down in flames So I promise ill try to learn to fly I found out its insane that I'm here flying a plane Cause I'm a drifter, I'm a drifter You called on the phone and you said You think I'll make it home So I'm a drifter no more

If mind is over matter, what's the matter with my mind? I'll tell you everything if you can find the time This head on my shoulder hopes it gets colder While we're up and down the hill Me and you we touch the sky And feel the fires in the night I've been diggin for something behind the stars And sometimes I burn in the light Maybe I looked too hard There are parts of us I don't understand And this situation was completely unplanned Some will summit, some will plummet And I'm wondering which am I Me and you we touch the sky And feel the fires in the night I've been diggin for something behind the stars And sometimes I burn in the light Maybe I looked too hard If you hold my hand Choose the right, the left is broken Take this song as a token Of all the words I left unspoken Me and you we touch the sky And feel the fires in the night I've been diggin for something behind the stars And sometimes I burn in the light Maybe I looked too hard

Harmonic 03:40
Cuts can be so deep when you don't expect them Awake you in your sleep if you don't respect them They take you away to a distant place They take you away to a distant place We are harmonic We are just right in tune And we will make the greatest melodies if you'll just come home soon Nights can be so long without a blanket But with these simple songs we just might make it To when you're here next to me You're almost here next to me We are harmonic We are just right in tune And we will make the greatest melodies if you'll just come home soon

Who woulda thought I'd wind up in this spot with you again I guess I forgot all the things I'd been taught about friends Did you ever think that we'd sit here and shoot the breeze? A simple game of the catch and the release and I will turn off my brain And lay these thoughts to rest Control the heartbeat in this chest And I might wait a little while Till time can cover all these miles I’ll turn off my brain Well I guess you can say that the time yesterday was beautiful I only can pray in a brand new way that it was meaningful Just let the waves wash over this house of sand Some distant day will tell to us if it still stands It keeps running inside my head I will turn off my brain And lay these thoughts to rest Control the heartbeat in this chest And I might wait a little while Till time can cover all these miles I’ll turn off my brain

Wall 04:53
Now boy don't you go and be a cowboy You were born to pull the plow, boy Hey man don't you go to outer space man Gotta stay here in your place man I've got anger I've got anger It's inside of me and it's hiding me from all the people that I'd like to meet I've got issues in my tissues They are part of me they make it hard to see a version of myself I'd like to be I've got a soul Yeah I've got a soul I built a wall and it blocked my view I built a wall and blamed it on you You helped it fall when you told the truth And that influenced my decision to form a demolition crew I'm gonna tear down the wall that's keeping me from you I've got anchors I've got anchors They're inside of me you keep reminding me whenever I am blowing in the breeze They are moments, holy moments The help me realign but I forget sometimes that they're my friends and not the enemy I've got a dream Yeah I've got a dream I've got a dream I built a wall and it blocked my view I built a wall and blamed it on you You helped it fall when you told the truth And that influenced my decision to form a demolition crew I'm gonna tear down the wall that's keeping me from you I wanna feel what I felt what I knelt, wanna feel what I felt I wanna feel what I felt when I knelt wanna feel it all I built a wall and it blocked my view I built a wall and blamed it on you You helped it fall when you told the truth And that influenced my decision to form a demolition crew I'm gonna tear down the wall that's keeping me from you Hey man You found your place man
